Resort Information for Hinterglemm, Austria
This brilliant ski area is renowned for its excellent range of pistes and efficient lift system, connecting Hinterglemm to Saalbach and Leogang. On powder days you’ll also find tremendous off piste through the trees, but please take a guide! Hinterglemm is spread along one main street, and the nightlife is a little more low-key than its neighbour. The area has an excellent snow record and is renowned to be an intermediates paradise.
A regular service operates between the village and Saalbach, stopping at all lift stations from early morning until late afternoon; free for pass holders. Nightliner buses link all the main villages from early evening until midnight.
In central Austria, near the border between the Tyrol and Salzburg regions. 12 mls NW of Zell am See. Lying in the dramatic Glemm Valley that runs E to W; the village is flanked on both sides by rugged peaks.

The Ski Circus circuit, with over 200Km of piste, is one of the best linked systems in Austria and includes nearby Leogang and Vorderglemm. This is also a fantastic area for snowboarding. Hinterglemm has its own snow park just above the village or go over to Leogang where the Elemente NITRO snow park is often used for numerous competitions throughout the season

There are numerous pubs, bars and restaurants catering for all tastes. For a slightly more varied and livelier nightlife then head over to the adjoining resort of Saalbach. Hinterglemm has a variety of shops and a Bank with cash point. There is also a supermarket.
