Kaprun is set at the foot of the breathtaking Kitzsteinhorn Glacier offering an excellent range of pistes, including some at high altitude with guaranteed snow. The lift pass covers both Kaprun and Zell am See areas(connected by regular ski bus). The ‘Optimum’ Sports Centre is the pride of the village, with its fantastic facilities. Combined with a wide variety of bars and restaurants, Kaprun has lots to offer both on and off the piste
A winter bus service connecting the resort centre to ski access points and Zell am See runs every 20 mins and is free with a valid ski-pass.
