A very pretty resort for families, intermediate skiers and snowboarders.  There are some challenging runs for the more advanced skier or snowboarder. The small village of Reith is only a little way along the valley and it has a few intermediate runs. These runs are not linked to the main area of Alpbach but your lift pass does cover the Reith area. A local bus will be required.

Apres Ski

A lovely village providing typical Tyrolean charm. There are a number of bars and an informal night club. There are also excellent restaurants and if you want to taste speciality meals of the region then try out the Fondue evenings at the Jakober or Rossmoss , or try the ‘Kaiserschmarrn’ (a wonderful Austrian desert) at the Zottahof.

The village also has banks with cash points; a supermarket and post office and a small number of boutique and gift shops. It would not be complete without the sports/ski shop!
